We also turned the shelter frame and cob jig that was made during the summer school into useful structures. Dumfries House now has its own cob pizza oven next to the new cook school.
The project was a brilliant experience, a stunning place, great local tradesmen, excellent students and ok weather.

The slating was carried out by Timby Traditional Roofing, Matt was a building craft apprentice 3 years ago. http://www.timbyroofing.co.uk/
The project would have not been possible without Hope Homes, Jim Harvey the site foreman deserves a mention and thanks for being a logistical genius. http://www.hopehomes.co.uk/
